It has been a productive week.

  • I finished and submitted my PCPP Grant which will help buy my school all new textbooks and dictionaries for the English program and classroom technology.
  • Submitted an application for Darien Book Aid so that I can create an English language library in the classroom.
  • Helped make a tough decision about which student my counterpart and I should take to Kiev if we are chosen to participate in a PEPFAR Training on HIV Risky Behaviors Prevention. Two girls wanted to go, so we had them each write why and what they wanted to gain from the training. It was a tough choice, but we made it and I sent in the application!
  • Did a TON of grading for the end of the semester, so now my counterpart loves me even more.
  • Started my Camp Unity application. It is a camp that promotes multicultural awareness and understanding in Ukraine and I would be pretty stoked to help plan it.

This weekend I plan on finishing that application and also finishing my application for Adopt-a-Cluster! Sunday will be spent relaxing and watching Christmas themed movies with my cats.

It is nice to finally feel busy.
